Nicole's Journey of Healing

I’ll be sharing my own personal journey of healing, growth, and ascension along with all of the tools that helped me break free from the chains of mental & emotional abuse, family dysfunction, poor childhood programming, learned negative self talk, and lack of self love.  I'll be continuously adding to the story as time passes for anyone wishing to follow along in my continued healing journey.  An important thing to understand is that healing is a journey, not a destination.

Through healing sessions, courses, and my soon-to-be-released mentoring program, I can help to guide you through the process of reclaiming your divine inner light.

You don’t have to do this alone.  I'm here to help.

Let’s climb out from under together.

The Girl Under The Rock

There once was a girl who lived beneath a massive rock.  It had been there for as long as she could remember, pressing down on her small shoulders, limiting her breath, and dimming her light.  She did not know life beyond its weight. The rock had been placed there long before she had the strength to resist it—by those who were meant to love and protect her but instead taught her patterns of dysfunction and abuse.  Through her early years, she learned that struggle, physical and emotional abuse was love, silence was survival, and shrinking was safety. And so she learned to survive in the shadows beneath the rock.  All the while, believing that suffering was simply living.

Years passed, and the girl grew into a woman, yet the rock remained. It had changed form now, carried by a man who claimed to love her, but only as he controlled the light, the air, the choices, and the dreams. But since she had never known the freedom of an open sky, she didn't realize she was trapped.  She was accustomed to the darkness, whispering to herself that this was normal, that comfort came from familiarity, even when that familiarity hurt.

The rock had pinned her down financially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, until she no longer questioned the weight—only why she couldn’t seem to move forward, no matter how hard she tried. She had been healing. Or at least, she thought she had been. She searched for answers, trying to mend the wounds of her past, doing everything she could to free herself from invisible chains. But still, she felt stuck. No matter how much work she did on herself, the weight never lifted.

But the soul does not forget its purpose.

Little by little, signs appeared—small cracks in the rock, barely noticeable at first. A book about healing found its way into her hands. A stranger’s kind words echoed in her heart longer than they should have. A moment of peace in nature reminded her of something she couldn’t name but longed to return to. The truth was persistent, though she had been taught to look away from it.

Then, one day, she looked at the rock not as a prison, but as a choice.

She realized she had spent years, actually most of her life, trying to heal beneath it, trying to grow in confinement, trying to find peace while still trapped under its crushing weight. But healing couldn’t fully happen in captivity.

All she had to do was lift the rock. Stand up. Step out from under it. And breathe.

Awareness.

For the first time, she saw the bruises—not in her mind, but on her soul.  She saw the fear that had kept her obedient, the doubt that had kept her small, the deep wounds of self-doubt, the scars of manipulated love, the silent ache of always thinking she was not enough. She saw the lies she had told herself to survive. She saw that the love she had accepted was never love at all. The revelation was both painful and freeing, like stepping from darkness into blinding sunlight.

Acceptance.

She grieved. She raged. She asked the hard questions she had always avoided. Why had she stayed? Why had she believed? The answers led her back to the little girl under the rock, the one who had learned that love meant endurance, that self-sacrifice was noble, that her needs were secondary.

But now, she saw the truth: those beliefs no longer served her. They had actually never served her.

And so, she began.

First, with small acts of self-love—speaking kindly to herself, allowing herself rest, honoring her own voice. Then larger ones—setting boundaries, reclaiming her finances, gathering strength. The more she nurtured herself, the weaker the rock became, until one day, she stood up and pushed it.

And the rock moved.

For the first time, she felt air in her lungs without restriction, light on her skin without shadows. She had freed herself—not just from the rock who had held her down, but from the learned beliefs from long ago that had kept her there.

She did not leave with bitterness, but with wisdom. She forgave—not for him, but for herself, to unshackle her heart. She forgave herself most of all, for not knowing sooner, for not leaving sooner, for all the ways she had once abandoned herself.

But she would never abandon herself again!

Now, as she steps into her new life, she does not rush. She listens to the whispers of her soul, the quiet nudges of intuition. She moves forward, not just surviving, but thriving.

The girl who once lived under the rock is gone.  That girl was me.

In her place stands a woman—free to be herself, whole, and radiant.

And she will never dim her light again!

If this feels or sounds familiar to you, allow me to help you.

I know the weight of that rock. I know how it feels to live beneath it, to think you are healing while still trapped under its shadow. But no one deserves to suffer under a rock.

Climbing out takes strength, endurance, and hard work! I learned that and can tell you that deep soul work cannot be rushed, but is absolutely possible with a loving support team that holds space for you. It’s time to grow into who you always were meant to be. All of the lessons lead to this.

The rock does not have to be a person.

For some, the rock is a relationship—one built on control, manipulation, or emotional wounds. But for others, the rock is something unseen yet just as heavy.

It could be limiting beliefs that whisper, “You’re not enough.”

It could be old programming from childhood, teaching you to shrink, to be a people pleaser, and to never ask for more.

It could be your own self-talk, the voice that keeps you in fear, doubt, or hesitation.

It could be past traumas, societal conditioning, or a lifetime of playing small to fit the expectations of others.

No matter what your rock is, the truth remains the same: You were never meant to live and suffer under it.

You were meant to be free, to feel light, to experience joy, and to step fully into your power.

I can help you uncover what’s truly weighing you down and guide you in clearing it—whether through Reiki to heal you at the root cause, hypnosis and meditation to rewire your subconscious, chakra balancing to restore flow, or mentorship to help you finally step into your light.

You don’t have to stay trapped beneath the weight of the past. Healing is possible. Freedom is possible. And you don’t have to do it alone.
